We have signed an MOU with CSIR-IMMT and established a pilot plant for critical mineral refining.
Revanta Minerals Private Limited (RMPL), Bhubaneswar, has become Odisha’s first company in the critical-mineral refining segment to sign a memorandum of understanding with the CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (CSIR-IMMT) for joint research and technology development on the recovery and refining of critical and strategic minerals from secondary sources.
The MoU was exchanged at the sixth Research, Industry, Start-up and Entrepreneurship (RISE) Conclave 2026, held at the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology campus in Salt Lake, Kolkata. The collaboration will develop process and refining technologies for mineral values recovered from waste-derived and other non-primary resources, linking RMPL’s industrial requirements with CSIR-IMMT’s laboratory research in mineral processing, extraction and materials technology.
